The SMS Lanio grassland harrows are dual purpose machines, suitable for both the scarification of grassland and for weeding in organic crops. Widths of between 2 and 12 metres are available with an optional seeder kit available for all models to further improve their versatility.

The SMS Lanio grassland harrow is a lightweight machine suitable for use as both a harrow on grassland and also as a weeder in organic crops. It is available in the following working widths:

• 2.0m
• 3.0m
• 4.5m
• 6.0m
• 9.0m
• 12.0m

All models feature 6 rows of tines with a 25mm spacing throughout the machine. As standard 6mm diameter tines are fitted with 7mm and 8mm being optional at no extra cost. In addition, all models from 4.5 metres wide are hydraulically folded for road transport. An option to be front mounted is available on certain models.

The flexible design of the tines aids penetration into dry surfaces, in addition their aggressive shape ensures weeds and thatch are brought to the surface

All models of the SMS Lanio grass harrow can also be fitted with a seeder kit. Consequently this allows cover crops or grass to be sown during use. In addition, rollers can be fitted in the seeder for the application of fertiliser if required. Both hydraulic and electric fan options are available on the seeders.
