The BFM B4 Double In-Row Tiller features two tiller heads mounted on automated arms for vegetation control between plants in the row.

The BFM B4 Double In-Row Tiller range is made up of five different models to cater for various row widths. All models feature two shaft driven rotary tiller heads, the width of these can be 40cm, 60cm or 75cm and is to be specified at time of order.  The tiller heads are mounted on automated arms that allow them to move around vines and trees. The sensitivity of the arms can be set with adjustable sensor rods. Other uses for the B4 could also include use in nursery stock cultivation. Adjustable gauge wheels are also supplied as standard to set the working height.

All versions of the B4 are completely self contained with their own hydraulic power pack. The pump for this is powered by the tractors power take off. In addition all models feature cable controls as standard.

Electronic controls are available as an option. In addition a range of additional heads can also be purchased to replace the tiller heads. These include a plough, hoe blade, disc hoe and also a mower head. As a result the B4 is a truly versatile machine for vegetation and weed control.

Models Available

Small

The Small model is suitable for row widths of between 1.4m & 1.6m. It is capable of working at 95cm from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 320kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 20hp.

Medium

The Medium model is suitable for row widths of between 1.8m & 2.2m. It is capable of working at 1.1-1.45m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 380kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.

Large

The Large model is suitable for row widths of between 2.4m & 3.0m. It is capable of working at 1.5-1.7m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 420kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.

Extra Large

The Extra Large model is available in two versions. It is suitable for row widths of between 3.8m & 4.2m or 4.5m & 5.0m and is also capable of working at 2.0-2.55m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 480kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.
