Compost Systems

Compost Systems are an Austrian based company founded in 2002 by Aurel Lübke. The history behind the company goes back over 50 years to 1971 when Uta and Siegfried Lübke bought a small farm. As a result, they started to look at ways of restoring soil fertility without the need for chemical fertilizers.

Following a period of intensive international research, they succeeded in employing a controlled microbial process to produce a compost. This exceeded the efficiency of even commercial chemical fertilizers. In order to industrialize the method, in 1987 their son Aurel Lübke began to develop technical solutions for its practical and efficient implementation.
