The CMC ST230 Compost Turner is a lightweight and compact compost turner suitable for use in windrows of up to 2.7 metres wide by 1.25 metres in height. It requires a tractor of at least 30hp fitted with either a hydrostatic or creeper transmission and can process up to 600 cubic metres per hour.

The CMC ST230 Compost Turner is a compact machine suitable for tractors with a minimum of 30hp. It is fitted with a 2.3 metre long horizontal rotor fitted with a bladed auger. As a result, this ensures that all compost windrows are thoroughly turned and mixed. This most importantly creates and maintains the optimal conditions for composting to take place.

Thanks to its design, the CMC ST230 Compost Turner is able to accommodate a windrow of 2.7 metres wide by 1.25 metres in height. In addition, it is capable of a travelling speed of between 100 & 750 metres per hour. This figure will vary based upon windrow size, density and stage of composting. Material throughput figures of up to 600 cubic metres per hour can also be achieved in ideal conditions.

The ST230 can be fitted with many options including hydraulic front shovels and also a watering system.

Whilst a tractor of a minimum of only 30hp is needed, it is essential that it has either a creeper or hydrostatic/variable transmission.
