Full Details

The Robert P2200 Straw Blower is the largest dedicated straw processor in the Robert range. The P2200 is aimed at the largest livestock producers with its huge capacity of 22 cubic metres. With optional equipment this can also be increased to up to 30 cubic metres. That makes the P2200 large enough to hold up to four 1.8 metre round, six 1.2×1.2×2.4 metre hesston or six 120×0.90 metre six string quadrant bales.

The P2200 features a large 1.8 metre diameter dual flow turbine fitted with eight bolt on blades to ensure even spreading of the straw is performed. Straw is shredded into the turbine by three shredding rotors fitted with replaceable blades. These rotors are driven by a reliable chain and sprocket system. Bales are moved along the bed by a proven and also reliable hydraulically driven chain and slat system.

The P2200 has the ability to spread at distances of up to 19 metres thanks to its design features. Two designs of chute are also available – one that spreads only to the side and another that is turntable mounted and able to rotate. In addition a dust suppression kit can also be fitted to the discharge chute.

A wide range of optional equipment can be fitted to the P2200 including electronic weighing and also electronic control of the turbine speed. In addition, an extension slide can be fitted to allow bales to be processed and discharged into feeding troughs. It is also possible to fit a mixing hopper for adding minerals to processed material.
