The Nardi FCI/GP Disc Harrow is available in working widths of between 3.20 and 6.85 metres. It is suitable for use on tractors of up to 400hp dependent on model.

Working Widths

The Nardi FCI/GP Disc Harrow is a heavy duty offset disc harrow. The range consists of two models, the FCI 230GP and the FCI 280GP, they are available in the following working widths:

Construction

All models benefit from 660mm diameter discs as standard. There is an option to have either cutaway or plain discs on all models. In addition, it is also possible to have a combination of the two disc options. With the FCI/GP range, double tapered roller bearings are also standard fitment to support the disc axles. Dependent on working width, either 12 or 16 bearing supports are fitted. Consequently, this should ensure that the FCI/GP range has a long service life. All bearings are also fully greaseable. Additionally two different disc spacing options are also available.

Working depth is set by the wheels on all models within the range. The lifting and lowering of the transport wheels is hydraulically controlled. In addition, the angling of the two offset disc gangs is also controlled hydraulically. All models also fold hydraulically to 2.5 metres for road transport. In addition, fully adjustable disc scrapers are also fitted to all models. As a result the discs will run cleaning regardless of ground conditions. Due to the weight of the disc harrows, large 400/60-15.5 wheels and tyres are also fitted as standard.

Power Requirements

As a result of their heavyweight construction the FCI/GP range will always penetrate into the ground, even in the toughest of conditions. With weights ranging between 3055kg and 6030kg a minimum power requirement of 130hp exists for the smallest models up to a maximum of 400hp for the largest models in the range.
