Sizes
The Nardi Starsem Precision Drill is a pneumatic vacuum precision planter that is available in 3 different frame configurations of Fixed (F), Telescopic (T) and also Variable (V) row spacing. The following row options are available

Models
The Starsem range consists of the Starsem K and also the Starsem P. The Starsem P is fitted with a shoe style opener and also Farmflex press wheels to firm the soil after planting. In comparison the Starsem K has a double disc style opener and also double press wheels to firm the seed in the ground.
The double disc openers of the Starsem K offer the ability to direct drill with no prior cultivation. Star cleaners are also fitted to this model to assist with accurate seeding where surface residue is present.
Frames and Seeder Units
The telescopic frame and variable row distance frames are able to fold to 2.5 or 3 metres for transport purposes. All models in the range feature a double drive transmission featuring chain and sprocket drive .Fixed row widths of between 45cm and 85cm on ‘F’ & ‘T’ models are available whereas on ‘V’ models the row width is variable between 45cm & 75cm. An optional transport kit is available for all fixed frame models. A large 55 litre capacity seed hopper is fitted to all units to ensure large areas can be covered between refills.
A wide choice of seeding discs are available to suit everything from small seeds like Canola up to large seeds like Broad Beans.
In addition hydraulic markers are fitted as standard along with a category 2 quick coupling for the liftarms.
Options
Solid fertiliser, micro-granular and spray kits are available for all models. In the case of solid fertiliser, both a tine and also a disc style opener are available.
An electronic control box is available offering full electric control of the drill and also the facility to turn off rows individually either manually or automatically.
