The SMS Teran Roller range is available in working widths of between 2.6 and 16.2 metres. A variety of roll profiles and sizes are available to suit different situations.

In addition, a seeder kit can be fitted to some models in the range to allow cover crops to be sown whilst using the rolls.

Standard Equipment

The SMS Teran Roller is available in a selection of different working width and ring configurations.

The Titan is available in the following working widths:

• 2.6m
• 3.0m
• 4.5m
• 6.0m
• 6.3m
• 7.0m
• 9.0m
• 10.2m
• 12.2m
• 15.2m
• 16.2m

In addition, the following ring options are available:

• 510/530mm cambridge/breaker ring
• 610/630mm cambridge breaker ring
• 540/570mm cambridge/breaker ring HD
• 500/550mm tooth ring roller
• 510mm smooth roller

With the exception of the smallest two models, the SMS Teran Roller range benefits from a heavy duty and robust multi-section frame design. Consequently this allows the roller to accurately follow ground contours. In addition the frame features large greaseable pins and bushes on all joints to ensure trouble free operation. The smallest 2.6 and 3 metre models are both mounted on the tractors linkage. Leaf spring based force transfer to the outer section is fitted to ensure even compaction across the full width. Furthermore heavy duty bearings are used on all axles to ensure a long lifespan.  All models from the 4.5 metre and above feature a hydraulically folding frame. In addition, larger models have hydraulic suspension units fitted to further aid ground following.

A rigid towing eye is standard on all trailed models within the Teran range. However, on the largest two models a K80 coupling is fitted as standard in its place.

In addition to assist with ease of road travel, the transport width of all models is under 3 metres.

Optional Equipment

A seeder kit can be fitted on models from 4.5 to 10.2 metres wide. These are available with hopper sizes of between 200 and 500 litres. Feed rollers to suit different seeds are available allowing cover crops and grass to be sown whilst using the rolls. In addition feed rollers can also be fitted to allow applications of granular crop protection products and fertilisers to be performed. Consequently this allows the Teran roller to be a highly efficient multi-tasking machine.

In addition, pre-emergence markers are available on the largest two models in the range. Consequently this allows for easier following operations prior to crop emergence.

Where the rolls will be used on stony ground, boxes are available on some models for collection of larger rocks.

In addition, floatation tyres and mudguards are available on some models. Furthermore, road brakes are an option on all trailed models above 9.2 metres and standard on the largest two models.

In addition and of high importance, there is an option for a road lighting kit to be fitted on all models.
