The Nardi HF Disc Harrow is a heavy duty tandem X pattern machine and available in working widths of between 3.92 and 6.72 metres. It is suitable for use on tractors of up to 340hp dependent on model.

The Nardi HF Disc Harrow is a heavy duty tandem disc harrow. The range consists of two models, the HF230 and the HF280, they are available in the following working widths:

Nardi HF230

• 4.16 metres
• 4.62 metres
• 5.08 metres
• 5.54 metres
• 6.00 metres
• 6.46 metres

Nardi HF280

• 3.92 metres
• 4.48 metres
• 5.04 metres
• 5.60 metres
• 6.16 metres
• 6.72 metres

Construction

All models benefit from 660mm diameter discs as standard. There is an option to have either cutaway or plain discs on all models. In addition, it is also possible to have a combination of the two disc options. With the HF range, double tapered roller bearings are also standard fitment to support the disc axles. Dependent on working width, either 8, 12 or 16 bearing supports are fitted. Consequently, this should ensure that the HF range has a long service life. All bearings are also fully greaseable. Additionally two different disc spacing options are also available.A central ripper tine is also fitted so that no ground remains undisturbed between the disc gangs.

Working depth is set by the wheels on all models within the range. The lifting and lowering of the transport wheels is hydraulically controlled. The angling of the discs is also carried out hydraulically on all models. Folding for transport is also carried out hydraulically. In addition, fully adjustable disc scrapers are also fitted to all models. As a result the discs will run cleaning regardless of ground conditions. There is also the option to fit a rear crumble roller if required.

As a result of their heavyweight construction the HF range will always penetrate into the ground, even in the toughest of conditions. With weights ranging between 4040kg and 5120kg a minimum power requirement of 180hp exists for the smallest models up to a maximum of 340hp for the largest models in the range.
