The Florida models are capable of planting cone and square plug grown seedlings. Should you wish to plant bare root plants, please take a look at the Itala model.

Two different carousels are available for the Florida transplanter. A six cup version capable of planting up to 4000 plants per hour on each unit and also a 10 cup version capable of 6000 plants per hour per unit.

All planting units are mounted on a parallelogram linkage to improve ground following in less than even soil conditions. All units are supported on a Farmflex wheel at the front where a clod pusher can also be fitted if required. In addition, all units feature a large stainless steel drop tube with a guillotine to ensure plants are always positioned in the correct place.

Steel press wheels are fitted as standard. As an option, large diameter rubber/plastic press wheels can also be fitted. These are especially well suited to lighter soils.

A range of optional equipment can be fitted including micro-granular and also fertiliser kits. In addition, a watering kit is also an option. This applies water to each seeding after it is pressed into the soil.

Should they be required, there is an option of mechanical and also hydraulic row markers. For increased operator comfort, rubber seats can additionally be provided to replace the standard plastic seats. Two styles of plant carrier can also be fitted to allow a large quantity of trays to be carried.
