The Sfoggia Calibra EVO is a high quality vacuum style precision drill specially developed for the exact sowing of small seeds. Between 2 and 24 rows can be fitted to the Calibra Evo models in single, twin & triple line form. Tandem & slim spacing seeding units are also available.

Seeding Units

Thanks to the design of the Calibra seeder unit, it is possible to sow either a single line, twin lines or triple lines of seed from one unit all in the same row. Various spacing options are available with the twin and triple line units. Alternatively both Tandem models with two seeder units per row and also a slim version able to sow single rows at 13cm inter-row spacings are also available.

All seed units make extensive use of aluminum and stainless is steel in their construction and also feature a long life Teflon gasket around the sowing disc. Eccentric singulators are fitted to each unit with one for every line that the unit sows. An easy to adjust regulator is also fitted to all units.

The Calibra benefits from a 238mm diameter seeding disc which allows a greater distance between the holes. Consequently this helps to minimise the risk of doubles. All Calibra discs are manufactured in house, as a result they can be drilled to suit your own requirements.

All units feature a drive system taken from multiple land wheels, consequently this ensures that there is no interruption to disc rotation.

Fan Group and Compressor

The Calibra Evo benefits from a high powered fan capable of producing enough airflow for up to 24 seeder units. Thanks to the internal diameter of 35mm on all suction pipes very little suction is lost. A gate valve is also fitted at the rear of the fan for controlling the suction pressure. In addition, the compressor unit has been developed to run at a constant pressure of 2.5 bar. As a result, this ensures that the holes in the seeder disc always remain free of any obstructions or debris. An air filtration and dryer unit is fitted into this system to also ensure that no moisture finds its way from the compressor to the seeding units.
