The GL&D Galaxi Trailed Woodchipper range is made up of three petrol & one diesel model with capacities of 130-150mm. Road homologation is possible on all models.

Full Details

The GL&D Galaxi Trailed Woodchipper range is available in the following models:

  • CDB23 – 23hp – Petrol – 130mm capacity
  • CDB25 – 25hp – Petrol – 130mm capacity
  • CDB35 – 35hp – Petrol – 150mm capacity
  • CDB35 EVO – 35hp – Diesel – 150mm capacity

Chipping is carried out by a 610mm diameter flywheel fitted with four replaceable adjustable blades. Material is fed into the flywheel by means of twin hydraulically powered rollers. Power for these is provided by the machines on board hydraulic system.

The feed of material into the flywheel is controlled by a “No-Stress” system. This monitors the speed of the flywheel to keep it between two pre-set parameters. As a result, if it’s speed drops below the lower setting, feed to the flywheel is stopped. Consequently the Galaxi range will be incredibly difficult to block. Power is supplied to this system by the chippers on board 12 volt power supply.

In addition, the CDB35 Evo also features a 180 degree rotating turntable. As a result it is possible to rotate the machine to allow easier feeding of material into it.

Outputs of between 10 & 20 cubic metres per hour are possible on the petrol models with it increasing to 10-22 cubic metres on the diesel version.

In addition, the three petrol versions all come in at under 750kg with the diesel machine weighing 850kg. Full road homologation is also available on all models.
