The BFM CM-SN Pruning Machine range feature a hydraulically driven rotary slasher cutter bar for the pruning of the side and top of vines. A choice of control options are available as is an independent hydraulic system if required.

The BFM CM-SN Pruning Machine is available in three different models. All models feature a rotary blade cutter bar mounted on a pantograph style arm. Thanks to it’s four synchronised arm movements, The CM-SN is able to work at distances of 550mm to 1550mm from the centre of the machine. Extensive use of stainless steel is made on all models for both the construction of the blades and also the guarding.

CM-SN 5

The CM-SN 5 is capable of cutting the vertical side of vines only. It features a 1.43 metre cutter bar with the blades adjustable between 2000rpm & 2500rpm. Weighing it at just 127kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 10-12kph. An oil flow of 20 litres per minute is also required.

CM-SN 5+2

The CM-SN 5+2 is capable of cutting not only the vertical side of vines but the top as well. It features a 1.43 metre vertical cutter bar and also a 0.6 metre adjustable angle cutter bar to allow the top of vines to be trimmed. Weighing it at just 155kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 10-12kph. An oil flow of 22 litres per minute is also required.

CM-SN 5+3

The CM-SN 5+3 is capable of cutting not only the vertical side of vines but the top as well. It features a 1.43 metre vertical cutter bar and also a 0.9 metre adjustable angle cutter bar to allow the top of vines to be trimmed. Weighing it at just 165kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 10-12kph. An oil flow of 22 litres per minute is also required.

As standard all models are powered by the tractors own hydraulic system. As an option it is possible to specify a fully independent hydraulic system. Cable controls are fitted as standard with both electro hydraulic and also joystick controls available as an option. All models are front mounted with rear mounting also available as an option.
