The BFM CM-SF Pruning Machine range feature a hydraulically driven reciprocating knife cutter bar for the pruning of the side and top of vines. A choice of control options are available as is an independent hydraulic system if required.

The BFM CM-SF Pruning Machine is available in four different models. All models feature a reciprocating knife cutter bar mounted on a pantograph style arm. Thanks to it’s four synchronised arm movements, the CM-SF is able to work at distances of 550mm to 1550mm from the centre of the machine. The knife is able to cut through material of up to 18mm in diameter.

CM-S 500

The CM-S 500 is capable of cutting the vertical side of vines only. It features a 1.9 metre cutter bar with the blade adjustable between 500 & 800 strokes per minute. Weighing it at just 130kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 5-8kph. An oil flow of 20 litres per minute is also required.

CM-S 510

The CM-S 510 is capable of cutting the vertical side and also the top of the vines. It features a 1.9 metre vertical and also a 0.9m adjustable cutter bar. The blade adjustable between 500 & 800 strokes per minute. Weighing it at 155kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 5-8kph. An oil flow of 22 litres per minute is also required.

CM-S 520

The CM-S 520 is capable of cutting the vertical side of vines only. It features a 1.9 metre vertical and also a 0.5m adjustable cutter bar. The blade adjustable between 500 & 800 strokes per minute. Weighing it at 165kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 5-8kph. An oil flow of 22 litres per minute is also required.

CM-S 530

The CM-S 530 is capable of cutting the vertical side of vines only. It features a 1.9 metre vertical and also a 0.75m adjustable cutter bar. The blade adjustable between 500 & 800 strokes per minute. Weighing it at 190kg, it is capable of working at forward speeds of 5-8kph. An oil flow of 22 litres per minute is also required.

As standard all models are powered by the tractors own hydraulic system. As an option it is also possible to specify a fully independent hydraulic system. Cable controls are fitted as standard with both electro hydraulic and also joystick controls available as an option. All models are front mounted with rear mounting also available as an option.
