The BFM B3 In-Row Tiller is an in row tiller available in 6 different models. All are capable of cultivation between plants in the row thanks to the automated swinging arm design.

The BFM B3 In-Row Tiller range is made up of six different models to cater for various row widths. All models feature a shaft driven rotary tiller head, the width of this can be 40cm, 60cm or 75cm and is to be specified at time of order.  The tiller head is mounted on an automated arm that allows it to move around vines and trees. The sensitivity of the arm can be set with an adjustable sensor rod. Other uses for the B3 could also include use in nursery stock cultivation. Adjustable gauge wheels are also supplied as standard to set the working height. It shares all of the same features as the B1 model only with a heavier duty construction and carbon coated blades.

All versions of the B3 are completely self contained with their own hydraulic power pack. The pump for this is powered by the tractors power take off. In addition all models feature cable controls as standard.

Electronic controls are available as an option. In addition a range of additional heads can also be purchased to replace the tiller head. These include a plough, hoe blade, disc hoe and also a mower head. As a result the B3 is a truly versatile machine for vegetation and weed control.

Models Available

Extra Small

The Extra Small model is suitable for row widths of between 1.0m & 1.3m. It is capable of working at 95cm from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 140kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 20hp.

Small

The Small model is suitable for row widths of between 1.4m & 1.6m. It is capable of working at 95cm from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 160kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 20hp.

Medium

The Medium model is suitable for row widths of between 1.8m & 2.2m. It is capable of working at 1.1-1.45m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 190kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.

Large

The Large model is suitable for row widths of between 2.4m & 3.0m. It is capable of working at 1.5-1.7m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 210kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.

Extra Large

The Extra Large model is available in two versions. It is suitable for row widths of between 3.8m & 4.2m or 4.5m & 5.0m and is also capable of working at 2.0-2.55m from the centre of the tractor. It weighs 240kg and also requires a tractor with a minimum of 25hp.
