Seeding Units

The large capacity seed hoppers of either 30 or 60 litres sit on top of the easy to adjust seeding units. A wide variety of crops and seed types can be catered for thanks to the ability to quickly and also easily change seeding discs. In addition, thanks to in house production, seeding discs can also be produced to suit your own requirements.

Three versions of the Sigma 5 seeding unit are available, for those who want a simple machine a version with fully mechanically chain and sprocket driven seeder units is available. For those who require more control of the seeding process, there is an electronic control and also Elektra Drive version.

If required, it is also possible to manually disable seeding units on the mechanical drive versions by the removal of a pin.

The Electronic Drive version of the Sigma 5 offers an in cab control version giving a partial and full area meter along with ground speed, seed counter and also seed population per hectare information.

Disc openers are fitted as standard also allowing the Sigma 5 to drill direct into un-cultivated ground. A wide range of disc options can also be fitted in front of the unit to assist with both direct drilling and conventional drilling.

Elektra Drive

The Elektra Drive system adds a high level of control of the seeding operation with the additional use of IsoBus. Thanks to an in cab touch screen control panel, all sowing parameters can be set from the operators seat. This includes seed populations and also spacing. In addition, the whole system has its own battery which is charged by an alternator mounted on the fan unit. Single row control is also possible with this system.

Where the optional fertiliser or micro-granular kit is fitted, the Elektra Drive system is also able to control these.

Options

A wide range of optional equipment can also be fitted to the Sigma 5 range including the following:

• Fertiliser kit – 250 litre PVC and also 860 or 1060 litre stainless steel versions are available.
• Micro-granular kits – 18 litre single outlet and also 32 litre twin outlet PVC hoppers can be fitted.
